At the request of the kids, these were baked. Still much healthier than the store bought sugar buns which are typically ladened with much more sugar than this.
See the miniature buns? Mini Milk Bite, if you would. The kids love them for tea breaks. One pop for one mouthful~ They are also convenient snacks to pack for picnics.
The proudest moment indeed. Nic came in 3rd at the school swimming carnival 2012, despite little training. She did swim 3 to 5 laps 2 days before the event and we thought, with that effort, it would be miracles if she could bag a medal.
To our greatest joy, and thank God, Nicole made it! This Bronze medal would pair very nicely with the Silver medal won last year.
First attempt at it. It would have been more presentable if I had the torch to burn the meringue. I had to make do by pre-baking the meringue in the oven in order to achieve an even coating… Errh....!
Now, I was really impressed by the young but highly skilled chefs. They were all very well trained in everyway. This is what I term as great service, great food! (We skipped the great Sake as we still wanted to shop…..haha)
A similar meal in Singapore would cost easily S$150 per head.
WorkPlayz Montessori is a personalized Montessori Pre-School with a strong emphasis on language development.
At WorkPlayz Montessori, the child works at her own optimum level – in a COZY environment where BEAUTY and ORDERLINESS are emphasized and appreciated. A spontaneous love of "WORK" is revealed as the child is given the freedom (within boundaries) to make her own choices.
Children's activity is referred to as "work" because we believe that play is the important work of early childhood. We place value on children's activity in the classroom by describing and treating them as work. With this in effect, a child's work becomes not only an effort a child makes or a process a child follows, but also an activity the child finds enjoyable, interesting and valuable in itself for that reason
It is an ideal pre-school for parents who prefer a smallerlearning group which would minimise the risks of infection due to the general weaker immunity of the younger ones as well as a lower teacher to student ratio.
