There were days when my little tough nut simply would not cooperate with me.

Me " Nicole. take a look at this, it is so easy, your magic brain can tell you the answer straight away"
Nic " No, my magic brain has broken down"
Me" What do you mean?"
Nic " The battery is flat!"
