It was an exciting Sunday! We met little Emma for the very first time since she was born 18 months ago.
Little Emma was born in Taiwan to Paul and Lisa. Both Paul and Lisa are good pals of Lawrence.
Emma is indeed a little genius. She is able to express herself very well. Not only can she speak in English, she is equally well versed in Mandarin and Hokkien too! What a fantastic achievement for a little toddler! I would credit Emma's achievement largely to Lisa who has also recently given up her highly sought after profession to be a full time mom!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Wow, little Emma certainly is doing well. Unfortunately I've not been very good with getting my children to learn chinese. Slowly trying to teach them a little hokkien. But their mindset is still very much English. So innocent these kids, my children will say they are English, not chinese. Sigh!
Hi Lian, I think one good way is to repeat a word in both english and chinese when you are pointing out to the little ones. They tend to pick up the easier sounding pronunciation. Tested with both my kids. It works!
