I mentioned about this fun little 2 year old boy, Evan in my earlier post (Invitation to a cell group dated 4 July 2008). The moment we stepped into the house, Evan recognised Nicole and instantly started "chasing" after her again. Evan simply wanted to stay near to Nicole, wherever she went. It was really an entertaining sight!Soon, the gathering transitted from a casual to a serious mode. We discussed and shared our joyous experiences with the Lord.
As the subject matter wasn't exactly meant for a 4 year old, Nicole began to fidget as she became restless soon after we kick started the forum. Out of boredom, she surprised me with her request!. She whispered her wish to sing a song to everyone and wanted me to announce and ask the cell group members to welcome her and to clap! Gosh, wasn't that rude? Afterall, it wasn't a singing audition!.....I made the request and thankfully the other group members were very kind and accommodative. They said they needed a commercial break anyway :) So, there she was, singing her chinese melody "wo de hao ma ma" (My good mother). That kept her still for at least a couple of minutes!!

I was one of the lucky few to hear Nicole's singing. I cannot wait to hear her again and also to see Evan's cute antics of "chasing" Nicole!
