"Papa and his cousin? wife? or sister?"

Nicole and I were reading a book titled "The people in my family". Other than the thinking questions asked, the book was just one of many around. The questions were :

Me " Nicole, who is married to daddy?"

Nic " Mommy"

Me" Who did grandpa marry?"

Nic "Grandma"

Me "How are daddy and grandpa related?"
( I needed to rephrase the question to "How would daddy address grandpa?")

Nic "papa"

Me "So, who is daddy to grandpa?"

Nic " hmm....his child"

I think it got on to Nicole's nerve when I continued to ask.

Me " so how are daddy and "ah ma" -ie, grandma, related?"

Nic " I dont know"

Me"Think, you know. Who is ah ma to papa?"

Nic " cousin?

Me "No...hahaha"

Nic "wife? ha"

Me "No no..try again...hahaha"

Nic "sister"

I decided to stop at that before Nicole came up with more creative relationship!
