Undeniably, the job market for tax positions is still rather vibrant despite the slow down in economy. As such, to-date, head-hunters are still knocking on my door. Well, it has nothing to do with my "popularity" but simply a reflection of a shortage of tax folks in the market :)
Nicole overheard my tele-conversation with a couple of head-hunters and it triggered her curiousity. She was smart enough to pick up a few key words here and there.
Nic " Mommy, who called you? Are you going to work?"
Me " Well, not exactly but if you keep on throwing tantrum, I will consider this option seriously"
The next thing I heard was "woo waa woo waa". Nicole broke into tears! Subsequently, she was very well behaved and this morning, she was exceptionally well behaved. She greeted me when she woke up and asked me for her milk super politely, with "please here" and "please there".
Well, I hope she would keep up with the "please here" and "please there"!
