A tough nut

Nicole and I were in bed and it was time to sleep....during the day, i actually spanked her and i felt bad about it....

me " nicole, i love you"
nic " me too"

me " nicole, do you know that it pains me more when i punish you?"
nic " hmm, i think you are too harsh on me" me " oh....do you know what "harsh" means?" ( i was like err,,,,,arent you supposed to say you are sorry and wont do it again....)

nic" ya, it means you are too serious with me"
me " oh oh...do you know why i need to be serious with you? because i want you to grow up to be a well mannered girl. do you know why i punished you this afternoon?"

nic " ya..because i was naughty " (giggling away)
me " can you tell me what you did which deserved the punishment?"
nic " i think i am sleepy now...good nite mom" ( then she turned away...)

sigh.....what am i to do with her?
