Young reader

There is always the one point which we need to cross before we get comfortable with what we think we can do. This applies to learning too. Not long ago, it was really a chore to getting Nicole to even set her eyes on any words. She simply refused to read and chose to rely on her elephant memory instead.

After getting through that one point, she is now much more ready to read a book with me. We read "Jill's Magic Window" 2 nights ago and I was so pleased that she could read at least 80% of the book on her own. I got her interested in wanting to know the story and the rest was a breeze.
