Like Sister like Brother

Ethan was resting his head on my tummy and Nicole wanted to do the same. Instantly, Ethan retaliated. He grabbed Nicole's hair and gave it hard pull. You can imagine what followed next. Crying and screaming etc etc.

Me " Ethan, did you pull Jie Jie's hair?" (preparing to punish him)
Me " Ethan, answer me. Did you pull Jie Jie's hair ?" (still no response)

E " I want my bed back. I want my bed....I want my bed.... " (Crying loudly, non-stop, pointing at Nicole who was sitting on his bed but still refused to answer my question)


Now both were crying, fighting to be the top soprano! E really had his way out (at least he thought). E knew that if he answered " yes", he would definitely be punished and if he answered " no", he would also be punished for not telling the truth So, he chose not to answer the question and divert my attention. Well, eventually, he was still punished for his ill action :( No running away!
