Baking Class

N was totally engrossed in reading her recipe. A recipe to bake her favourite cookies!

N and I registered for a parent and child baking class during the school holiday and it was all worth my effort and time to rush back from the office, just for a 2 hour lesson.

It was a real hands-on experience for her. She got to roll the dough and mould the cookies. When the cookies were ready, the pair were seen dividing the cookies into equal numbers. It was enlightening to see how they negotiated the deal. :)

The highlight was of course the docoration session. The kids dipped their cookies into as much chocolate as the cookies could possibly shoulder! They also learnt to dress their animal cookies up using liquid chocolates which was the most interesting part of the entire baking lesson.
The happiest moment was none other than tasting the fruit of their "hard work"!

She is so good, able to read and follow the recipe on her own. *clap clap*

That's so much fun! Is she asking for baking sessions at home now?
