I was sharing with a colleague on Nic's tricks in getting me to sign her spelling and tin xia workbooks. She knows that they do not go towards her assessment and hence at times, she would conveniently forget to learn them, resulting in scores such as 7/10, 8/10. She knows the consequences of being lazy and she tries to cover it up by showing me only the pages where she has perfect scores.
My colleague remarked " Aiyo, let me share my story with you"
My son came home with his scores.
Son " Daddy, I only got 2 wrong for this test"
Dad " 18/20, 2 wrong, ok. Next time do better ok? "
Son " ok,...and this one also 2 wrong"
Dad " 13/15, 2 wrong, ok...can be better ok? "
Son " ok...this one also 2 wrong"
Dad " 1/3....WHAT???....2 wrong out of 3??...@@####!"
