Do you know how much your little ones know? (1)

At times, we tend to underestimate the capability of our little ones, especially when it comes to general knowledge.

Nicole loves to be read to. Every now and then, she will pick a book and ask me to read it to her. We read "The wrong cat". It was a story about a magic cat, named Grazelgritch and an ordinary female cat named, Alice.

At the end of the story, she did a very impressive round up :)

Nic" Grazelgritch married Alice. Grazelgritch is a man and Alice is a woman",

Me " Huh? how do you know Alice is a woman and Grazeltgritch is a man?"

Nic " ya, just like Alice in wonderland...and so Alice is a woman...and a man marries a woman"

Me" oh really...but which cat gave birth to those little kittens?"

Nic " I know, I know, Alice....just like you when your tummy was so big"

Well, I wont be surprised if Nicole soon tells me she knows where a baby comes from!
