I guess there is no magic to mastering maths apart from regular practice, at least for the younger ones whose comprehension ability has yet to reach a certain level of maturity.
After showing Nicole a couple of examples of math problems which require reformatting the equation from addition to subtraction, she finally got the hang of it and began to enjoy practising them.
Nicole loves to role-play whenever we are doing maths. Yesterday, she pretended to be the math teacher teaching a group of invisible pupils who were weak in maths! There she was "reprimanding" the pupils for not paying attention. I guess she won't make a good teacher :)(
