Welcoming the Tiger Year

Reunion Dinner was steamboat. An easy and grease free meal. It was a quiet affair as we did not join both sets of parents who were far away. Nicole joined us for a quick bite of abalone before heading for her favourite TV program - Mister Maker while E was already glued to his priority seat waiting for Mister Maker :)

On the first day of New Year, there was a fierce battle between the kids and I. They both refused to put on their New Year CheungSum and SumFu :( ! Nicole compromised by wearing her other new dress instead while E just put up his strongest struggle till the end to win the battle :( He insisted on wearing his favourite white cotton T - the one and only T shirt he likes wearing, amongst tens of others. (Really a waste of money, seeing how quickly he outgrows them without even a try in them :((

We visited Ai Qin for lunch and a feast was whipped up for us. Our all time favourite - dumplings were the highlights again this year. The kids were busy with the hamster while the adults were helping ourselves with dumplings :)
