K2 graduation

Looking back, Nic has truly been a wonderful child, in numerous aspects. She has given us countless occasions to be proud parents. Every single milestone was so special and precious. Her first steps in the library, her first word (it was GOD, believe it or not), her first day in pre-school when she was barely 17months old, her first concert, her first swimming award, her first ballet award, her first taekwondo award, her first piano exam and many more. We savour each moment with pride and joy and certainly thank God for her achievements.

This is the second time I am attending N’s K2 graduation concert. She graduated in a different school last year but due to age constraint, she has to repeat K2. Just over 12 months, she has matured and grown to be a much more independent girl.
She was chosen to be the concert compere for her class and she spoke in Mandarin with a crystal clear intonation which in my view, was a fantastic achievement for a “non-native” speaker, (though not technically right, as we are Chinese by race afterall). Her class put up a delightful song and dance performance and I could see that lots of efforts were put in by the children and teachers.

My little girl has really blossomed over the years. We are grateful for all the privileges we are able to afford her so far, and we thank God for them. In less than 1 month’s time, we are to attend N’s P1 orientation and that would mark the beginning of her second phase in continuous learning :)

Hi there,
Indeed. Not under the Singapore school system, unfortunately. Nic didnt do K1, she went straight from N2 to K2. :(
