Happy Birthday N!

Now, this was the better version of the trial :). I was happy with it, at least.

It was a "rainbow" birthday cake, as requested by Nic. Well, not exactly 7 colours but just 5.

I layered the cake into 5. Carrot juice for orange, Beetroot juice for pink, Pandan juice for green, Blue Pea Flower juice for blue and Chocolate Powder for brown. The cake was sandwiched with fresh raspberry cream and topped up with more fresh fruits!

Also made the popular Chocolate Ganache Mud Cake, absolutely butter free :) and the "premium" chocolate pieaces :)

A tiring day but it brought lots of happiness :) Thank God, my auntie was here. She helped to prepare the savory dishes and the Mango pudding, while Lawrence/Rose took care of the BBQ stuff. We had premium steak, tiger prawns, Hallibut fish fillet, Scallop, Sakura Chicken fillet, corn, salad, fresh fruits, etc etc and the most dreaded sausages.

Nic's classmate 1 remarked " Auntie, I love these macarons....and the cookies too..hmm...so tasty...."

Classmate 2 " Auntie, did you bake this cake ? Wow! It's so beautiful!"

Classmate 3 " Auntie, you are so talented, may be you can open a bakery....I will go there everyday!"
