For the past 2 weeks, I have been rather slack with Nicole as I had an eye infection and was not able to do much reading or Maths with her. So, I just passed the whiteboard to Nicole for her own entertainment and she started doodling again but to my surprise, it was not quite a doodle. It was a similar Math equation which I had taught her some 3 weeks back!She set the question herself and solved the problem on her own too! (But to be fair, I think it was by chance though). I helped her on the last step in deciding which numbers to circle.
I was absolutely over the moon to learn that she was able to tackle it! Some steps have been omitted here because Nicole did it on the other whiteboard and she erased them off after obtaining the answers. Well, I hope Nicole can keep up her interest in Maths!

You just missed a very interesting posting which I deleted two hours ago, about my past catching up to me...and thus the songs you now hearing in my blog player.
A lady, Monica was reading it when 'it' disappeared'. I took it off.
I guess or decided that it might be sensitive to see daylight as a story to some people and took it off.
It was about my past catching up to me, of a lady I knew back in the 70's in Penang who on a visit to Toronto 3 weeks ago made contact with me.
Caught me by surprise, after 33 years!
She was here with her husband who was attending a workshop conference.
It was a very long posting too, in detail, took me 3 days plus pics inserted, mine too in Penang,...felt sad at removing it too...as in it was the love she had for me I didn't know.
We had lunch two days to bring back all the memories, then said 'goodbye' parting as good friends.
That posting was all about her contacting me and the times we had old days. Posting was entirely about her, Rose.
Incidentally, I did a posting about Rose in my archive, see...'Memories of a Penang Rose", d/d 4/20/08.
Anyway, I am presently reconstructing another posting, almost similar....and Rose will be mentioned.
