As Lawrence was away for business trip, so I took Nicole for her piano lesson by bus. We could have walked there (only 2 bus stops away) but I thought I would take Chubby along for his first bus ride ever!
He was so excited boarding the bus. He kept turning his head to look out of the window and he shouted "car car, taxi, taxi" as the vehicles overtook our bus. The passenger next to me just couldn't help smiling at Chubby and commenting how cute he was!

oh you are so brave to take 2 kids on a bus :D i'm sure ethan will be asking for more bus rides :)
Hi Contentedmom, ha ha, I bet he was excited. But good education. Kids remember all these experiences....
I can remember my very young days 1940's, my mom took me on a trishaw go shopping.
I even sat in a Malay friend's father's bullock cart, ha ha.
One thing I am glad was my mom at a very early age motivated me to write, note my interesting experiences.
And that habit stayed with till today.
Here now, we have been here 21 years and yet I can tell clearly who visited us all these years, dates and times, what we did etc....all noted down on the calendars.
When I came here, I brought 25 old executive dairies, note books...and apart from my daily work notes, I would note my other, ahemmm, experiences, BUT, in alphanumeric codes, so only I will know what they are.
And thus, you get to read the many memories in my blog.
Infact I was going to destroy all of the diaries too, and again, lucky did not as now can bring back the memories via my Blog.
Yes, maybe next day you motivate your children too. Lee.
I curious. who took that photo when all 3 of you are in the photo... or is that Auntie Rose?
hihi...thanks for sharing your experiences, u Lee.
hi to mommies, I was the camerawoman and that's Rose in the pic..haha..
Wow! u alone took nicole and ethan for the ride!~
Ethan looks very chubby in the photo.. :)
definitely an experience and u can put it down on their journal. i wonder when will be the day i take philip on a bus in KL.... *pull hair first*
You should take them on a taxi, train and plane too. Exposing them to as many experiences as possible is what makes them learn but I say only lah. I only take the kids in a car. :P I dare not take the bus in KL, alone with two kids, no way.
hihi. indeed both of my kids were exposed to their first plane ride when they were barely 6 months old. We brought them back to Aust. Nicole is a seasoned plane traveller. She surely knows how to play with the inflight entertainment gadget :)
