Sesame Red Bean Buns


Nicole has been craving for red bean buns and quite easily I put this together for her.
A short cut to making red bean paste
- Boil some red beans with sugar till they turn soft (taste for sweetness)
- Mash it up.
You can freeze a portion for later use.
This is a quicker and healthier way of making your own red bean paste. The conventional way is to add tonnes of oil and you also have to sift out the coat. This is to achieve a glossy and smooth texture.
We dont mind a less "smooth" texture. We love red beans very much and this is one way of enjoying it. :)
