Cutie Pie couldnt wait to break the good news to me. She tried ringing me at the office but I was on the phone unfortunately.
She scored 100% for her term 3 Math Assessment! I was over the moon simply because N did not make any careless mistakes. She heeded my advice to check her work. I have not had to worry about her not being able to tackle the Math questions but have always been fearful of her " super carelessness".
Little did I expect to receive another heart warming piece of news. I took out N's Math Assessment paper with the intention of signing it and guess what else I found in her folder. Wow! My little girl scored a Distinction for an International English Writing Assessment and Competition, graded by the University of NSW, Australia. I couldnt believe my eyes! I totally forgot about the assessment as it was not part of her regular school assessments! Well done, Sweetie! You are our joy and pride!
